Study Visa for Foreigners

Foreigners can stay in Spain for a period of more than 90 days if they are planning to carry out any of the following:
- Undertake or further studies in an authorized education center in a full time program leading to a diploma or certificate of studies.
• Research or training activities (as long as it is not a work activity, in which case you will have to apply for a temporary residence permit and work for research)
• Participate in a student mobility program to follow a high school and / or high school program in an officially recognized center.
• Non-work practices in a public or private agency or entity
• A volunteer program that pursues objectives of general interest.
* This speed of resolution is in normal conditions, in times of high volume of renovations by the public administration, the resolution time could be extended.
