I studied Labour Relations (Graduado Social), specialising in Immigration and International Labour Law, and later completed a Master’s degree in International Relations (IR). The experience I gained working at the University of Barcelona in the IR and Immigration department, as Head of International Projects, brought me face to face with the enormous problems that arise when students and workers seek to formalise their permits to reside legally in Spain. The combination of experience, a desire to make a difference and a keen awareness of the need to resolve the bottlenecks in the immigration system led to the creation of a consultancy project designed to streamline these processes in a modern way, using a more contemporary approach in a world increasingly linked to technology.
